Junior Whippets Baseball
Tryout registration is CLOSED
This club was created to help expose youth baseball players to next level competition. Registration and tryout required. Practices start at the beginning of January on Sundays then two days a week in March. Practices are held at Whitewater High School. Games run from April through Mid-July. There are typically 1-2 games per week on weekdays.
Tryout dates for the 2026 season are as follows:
Monday, 7/21/25: 2nd-4th Grade / 5pm-7pm
Tues, 7/22/25: 5th-8th Grade / 5pm-7pm
Wed, 7/23/25: make up date & 2nd evaluation for all ages / 5pm-7pm

Park & Recreation
Quad County Youth Baseball
Registration deadline is early April
The local Parks & Recreation hosts the Quad Quanty Baseball League for 8U-14U. The league emphasizes teamwork, participation, fair play, and sportsmanship. Practices are held twice a week before games start, and at least once a week during the season. Games are typically Monday and Wednesday evenings from mid-April to mid-July. There is an end-of-the-season league tournament usually the third week of July.

Rookie Ball
Registration deadline is May
The City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation hosts Rookie Ball, a step up from Tee-Ball. Rookie Ball builds upon previous skills, offers game situations, and teaches rules. It is a coach pitch program. All the players practice on the same field for the first two weeks and then they are divided into teams. Teams practice every Tuesday and Thursday in Starin Park.

The City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation hosts Start Small Baseball as the introductory program. It focuses on throwing, catching, hitting, and running the bases.
